About Me

Katie Mathewson is a brand marketer and copywriter living in New York City. Born and raised in Tulsa, OK, she studied International Relations, Spanish, and Communications at the University of Oklahoma. Fluent in Spanish and proficient in Arabic, Katie has traveled extensively abroad, counting Spain, Peru, and Thailand as her favorite international experiences. Her work has taken her from Oklahoma to Washington D.C. to New York City, where she's spent the last 8+ years working in digital communications, with a focus on people-first storytelling. Her work with brands across the consumer products, food services, and non-profit industries includes communications strategy, copywriting, employee engagement, and reputation management.
